Do Something is a great resource, full of ideas both big and small, encouraging you to do something – anything!
Some ideas that you can do most effortlessly include:
Veggie Surprise: Host a meat free BBQ to demonstrate to friends that veggie burgers can taste as good as meat ones. Worldwide veganism would save some $700bn to $1 tn per year on health care, and cut food-related emissions by 70% (Oxford University). A good way to talk to friends about the impact of eating meat on climate change, and how even just reducing meat can make a big difference.
Everyday superhero: If you aren’t doing anything – publicly recognise someone who is! Maybe someone else will be inspired and do something!
Reuse bottles: Buy a reusable bottle and encourage others to do the same.
Healthy heart: Heart Diseases are the number 1 cause of death globally. This encourages you to help your dad get a check-up.
DIY deodorant: Make your own, safe and chemical free deo. Why not!?
